Why is my IP address banned from going into Tikun Olam?

Hey gloopy! Good to see you again!

My guess about Tikun Olam is that Richard's had to ban someone and they're using the same ISP as you. If I was you I'd PM him and ask coz I don't think he checks in here all that often...

I'm the only person who uses this computer. Unless someone else can have the same ISP as me?

Anyone who's using the same internet service provider as you probably has the same IP address, at least that's what I've been told about that sort of stuff. I know it happened to me on a forum once where someone with the same service provider as me had been banned, so I couldn't access the forum after that either...

I thought IP addresses were unique to computers - anyway I PM'd Richard, if he doesn't respond I'll email him.

Good news, I'm back on TO. Seems it wasn't my specific IP address, everyone was getting that message due to a DOS attack on his site. It had to do with his outing one Doron Zahavi. Richard has more intestinal fortitude than I could ever muster.

In this instance he didn't really ban anything, hackers got on his site and left a message saying people were banned. The problem has been taken care of. :)
